Why would a home inspector refuse to provide a written report?

Something is not right with this home inspector. Ask for his license and insurance and if he fails to provide it then call the state dept of licenses and report him. You hired him to do an inspection and provide you with a written report. DO NOT PAY HIM anything, unless he provides you with a report. Without a report the inspection is useless.
