You can sell. If ins co who paid claim does not recover w/ in reasonable time, you reclaim ownership by default. Most states say w/in 30 - 45 days after claim is paid. Some even require recovery before they will settle claim. 1 year constitutes abandonment of and if they were to try to make claim of ownership you could charge for storages.
