Men; Spill about 'ignoring'?

I watched 3 of my brothers hockey games (he's no longer playing now). His team mate and I kept eye contact through all of the games, and he was showing off a lot. He had taken his helmet off several times so I was able to see what he looked like, quite cute by the way! I didn't want to approach him after the games because I didn't want to make my brother uncomfortable, so I found him on facebook. I saw on his profile pic that he has a birthmark in the center of his forhead, but he is still attractive. I added him, 2 days later he changed his profile pic, but didn't add me....and I know I am very attractive, have class and am smart. I don't have an option of sending messages to him, and all I want to do is get to know him outside of facebook. (I never approach men, this is my first time, and it hasn't gone well) Now, 5 days later he still hasn't accepted me, and I am wondering why not.
