Do any of you feel like this?

So I just got my first horse yesterday, I didnt want him to get hurt on his first time in. Trailer so I practically wrapped him in bubble wrap and he still managed to gash his fore heAd open-_- so we got that all fixed up, let him out In his new field, and he is only 3 so hes running around and he manages to run Into a pile of sand we had laying on the side if the field and scratch his legs up, I almost feel like leaving him in hockey equiptment . I know he's a horse and he is going to get hurt, but it's been two days and he is In the safest feild possible. No rocks, a little shelter. But I just can't leave him, how long will this last?
