Why are leaves of a flamingo plant turning brown?

I had this plant for 6 years and I repoted it two months ago because it had out grown its pot. Some leaves started to turn brown from the outside and die. There remains one foot that seemed healthy with five new small leaves but a few days ago some brown spots apppeared on one of those leaves as well. Could it be a root problem or a parasite?
