Property Rental Breach of Contract?

I had a house rented for the holiday weekend and I sent the homeowner the full rental amount that she requested. Hours before I was set to leave, the owner emailed me and said that she was going to rent to someone else because they offered her more money. A few hours later she refunded my money, but left us without a place to stay on our vacation. Do I have any recourse?
