If you favor flamingo beach over manuel antonio, uvita/dominical beach, why exactly?

I want to take a tour to cano island so will stay in dominical area for about 3-4 nights. But wanted to go to a different NICE beach that's more convenient & nearby here. Though 2-3 here have mentioned flamingo. So am very curious what makes flamingo "better quality"? I guess if we have to, we'll hop over there [probably fly in + take a taxi to get to flamingo, but only after that cano island tour is taken. What all do you live so much abt flamingo beach? What do you not care so much abt beaches in or fairly nearby Manuel Antonio beach?
