How would you Repair a $250 Hockey Stick?
Alright so today i was at my local park playing street hockey and this guy shows up with this sick Reebok 9KO stick and so im using it and i decide i really like it so i traded him my TPS Response R1 ($55) and so i went home to do a little research on the stick i just recived. Obviously i could tell it was a good trade on how good the stick shot and its weight was like nothing was in your hand. After researching for a quick 15 minutes i found out that brand new the stick ran $250 and it was the stick Pavel Datsyuk used of the Detroit Red Wings( My home town). And so i freak out and quickly take a look at it and decide, wait this stick could use some shape up. So after taping it i looked at the blade and the bottom is worn good to where you can see the composition of the blade but a little overlayer is still left and the front of the blade is slightly chipped but not horribly bad, just probably from standerd Ice play. And so i now wonder because i want this stick to last a while and i want to repair the blade a little what is a good quick at home fix to clean the blade nice and good and make it longer lasting. I want to repair the chips and under the blade where the compisition is showing and i know tape wont last forever. The shaft is in very good condition besides the decals slightly scratched so no need to worry about that. Is there a cheap way to get the stick to full health so it will last a while? Thanks.
