Can I be suspended at work more then one time for the same offense?

I had a heated argument with my boss where I called him a "asshole" and he sent me home for the day. I returned to work today and he called me into his office and asked if I had anything to say to him. I said no and he suspended me for 3 days. If he calls me into his office and suspends me again for the same offense, what recourse do I have if any?
